Hi, I’m Becs.

And I’m on a mission to undo about 70,000 years of evolution.

That’s right. Human beings have grown so desperately far away from their natural roots that we’re in a bit of a mess.

Well I’m sort of into trying to fix that.

I’m passionate about trying to help people reconnect with nature.

Whatever that means to them.

• I do that through my work with the UK’s protected areas.

• I do it through speaking, whether that’s university guest lectures or events.

• I do it through writing, where I explore everything from human evolutionary history, heritage, and nature connection through the ages to employability in the nature sector, issues with the nature markets, and anything else that I fancy.

• I do it through art, where I can express the things that most inspire and frustrate me about the whole messy thing.

Generally, I love to engage and excite people about nature.

Whatever the audience or medium, I help people to connect.
